DESCRIPTION

A metal strip coated with un-reinforced PVC, manufactured in a traditional coil coating installation using hot glue to combine the mechanical strength and adaptability of metals with the anti-corrosion and water-proofing properties of thick PVC laminates.

For perimeter edging and wall borders.

Composition

Film 500-1200 µ , adhesive (5-7 µ ), Galvanized steel backing Dx51D+Z275 as per EN 10142 standard, epoxy printing (5-7 µ).


 
APPLICATION

Vinitex systems should be installed by experienced and qualified personnel.
The surfaces should be dry, clean and free from residuals.
Membranes can be welded to the strips using a hot air welder. Weldability and the quality of welds are influenced by atmospheric conditions (temperature and humidity), welding conditions (temperature, speed, pressure, cleanliness etc) and by the condition of the laminate (cleanliness, humidity). The welder must be adjusted accordingly for correct welding.
All welds should be sealed using Vinitex Liquid.
